1. Eligibility for Refunds
- Cancellations by Guests: Guests may be eligible for a refund depending on the host’s cancellation policy. Guests should review the specific cancellation terms outlined in their reservation confirmation.
- Cancellations by Hosts: If a host cancels a booking, guests will receive a full refund for that reservation.
- Extenuating Circumstances: In cases of unforeseen events beyond a guest’s control, such as natural disasters or emergencies, guests may apply for a full or partial refund by providing supporting documentation.
2. Cancellation Windows
- Flexible Policy: Full refund for cancellations made up to 24 hours before check-in, with the exception of a service fee, which is non-refundable.
- Moderate Policy: Full refund for cancellations made up to 5 days before check-in, except for the service fee.
- Strict Policy: 50% refund for cancellations made up to 7 days before check-in. No refund if the cancellation is made within 7 days of check-in.
3. Refund Process
- Initiating a Refund: Guests must request a refund through their account on our platform. Eligible refunds will be processed automatically within 5-10 business days.
- Service Fees: Service fees are usually non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the cancellation policy under specific circumstances.
4. Dispute Resolution
- If there is a discrepancy between the booking and the actual property details or any issues arise during the stay, guests should contact our support team immediately. A resolution, which could include a partial or full refund, will be pursued based on a case-by-case evaluation.
5. Changes to the Policy
- The platform reserves the right to amend this refund and cancellation policy at any time. Guests and hosts will be notified of any changes through email and updates on the website.
